Biohumus-AM is an organic fertilizer used as refresher of soil. Biohumus contains water-soluble nutrients and is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner.
It is the product of the composting process using special specie of worms (Eisenia Fetida). In process a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste is used . Containing water-soluble nutrients, vermicompost is a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner in a form that is relatively easy for plants to absorb. Because the earthworms grind and uniformly mix minerals in simple forms, plants need only minimal effort to obtain them. All nutrients in it are balanced and bioavailable to plants. Biohumuse has no pathogenic microorganisms, helminth eggs, weed seeds and heavy metals. In addition, it has a unique community of beneficial micro-organisms for soil and plants, these organisms, when introduced into the soil, bio-humus, excrete phytohormones, antibiotics, fungicidal and bactericidal compounds, causing pathogenic microflora to be expelled. All this ultimately destroys and eliminates widespread plant diseases.
In this way, biohumus is a very effective and ecologically clean fertilizer that improves agrochemical properties, improves quality and increases the yield of farm products. Macro and micro elements in biohumuse are quite important. Produced biohumus is close to neutral and alkaline reactions – pH 6.5-7.8, up to 50% organic matter, 10-12% humus, 50-65% moisture, 0.8-3.1% nitrogen, 1.3 -4.0% phosphorus, 3,0-6.0% potassium, 4.5-10.0 mg/kg calcium, 0.6-2.5mg / kg magnesium, 0.6-3.0mg / kg iron , 3.5-5 mg / kg copper, 60-94 mg / kg manganese, 28-35 mg / kg zinc, 1 mg / kg cobalt. In addition, biohumus has exceptional physiochemical properties: hydration of the structure (95-97%) and full moisture absorption (200-250%). This allows it to be described as an excellent meliorant and soil improver. Biohumus can and should be used as an organic fertilizer and soil improver, putting it on the soil naturally. It is not possible to ‘saturate’ the soil (if it does not contain chemical fertilizers). Its use improves soil for a long time. According to the experiments performed, by adding the 2 t / ha preparation, in the first year we raised the humus concentration in the soil by 1.69% to 2.22%. In this way, restored soil can be revived in a few years, which will significantly increase fertility.
Our company is ready to collaborate individually with each farm, to advise, to set the required humus rates for renovating degraded soils.
